Forgotten summary of notes from Indonesia.
🐙
There are Hindus, Muslims, Christians and even animists in one country. And surprisingly, they are still ALIVE!
🐙
Hinduism smells so NICE. Just take a sniff at Bali.
🐙
Is it a temple, or just someone´s house? You never know in Bali.
🐙
BTW! In Bali you don´t have to do only “Bali things”. We skipped the parties and beach and helped in a DOG SHELTER for a couple of days instead.
🐙
Indonesian flag is basically a sister of the Polish one. It´s just upside down.
🐙
We tasted fruits that we have not even seen before. In addition to the CASHEW APPLE, we ate SALAK, strange plums and colourfull MARACUYAS.
🐙
Local people call us PULÉ. Does anybody know what pulé means?
🐙
Driving in Indonesia is adrenalin. You can see only half of the road through the windscreen. The other one is filled with huge signs and huge CENTIPEDES.
🐙
We swam with MANTAS, TURTLES and MOLA-MOLA!
🐙
Dom was so thrilled about it that he took a DIVING COURSE straight away.
🐙
Our friend Kubi was with us for a while. So we had to be more active than we would like to.
🐙
Praying on the plane. Before the departure, the pilot ends the speech with AMEN and there are brochures with prayers in all religions. Only the ORDER OF THE GUMMY BEARS was missing.
🐙
We resisted for 9 months but they got us at the end of our Asian trip. BEDBUGS tasted our blood for the first time.
🐙
We feel that if we visited Indonesia 100 times, it would be 100 times different. Thousands of islands are making Indonesia the most diverse country we have visited.
🐙
And we were just in 5 ISLANDS.
🐙
THE EARTH WAS SHAKING. Fortunately, we have never been in the wrong place at the wrong time.
